The Rubric
Directions: Open the Link Below. Go to File and then to Make a Copy. Rename your Copy, and then you can use the form
Parody EditorYou will receive receive grades You will get one for your own parody, and one for your peer reviews.
1. Assign Topics- All students who are assigned Parody assignments can pick the method that they complete the Parody from the Tiered Webmix, but they are limited in the topic they can pick. You will go through the Georgia Performance Standards from the Unit, and you will assign one to every member of your group. They will have to pick a character or topic that fits into that standard 2. Complete all full class assignments- Yes, you still have to do the discussions, furthering knowledge, notebooks (if assigned), and quizzes 3. Check Progress- The success of the Parody unit is on you. You need to work to make sure that every standard is covered. 4. Complete 1 Parody- You yourself have to do 1 Parody. Make sure you do one in a way that helps aid the coverage of all standards 5. Peer Review- You will need to take the rubric above and complete a peer evaluation of every Parody project. Grade these accurately without bias! You are only helping the person if you are being honest. Your unit project score depends on it, and it gives the other student the chance to fix issues before things are turned into me Parts of the Rubric to Use
News Broadcast EditorYou will receive two grades You will get one for the final news broadcast, and one for your peer reviews.
1. Plan Your Stories- You are in charge. Plan what you want each person to do. Assign them a standard and let them get creative, or you can detail what you want the structure of their video to be. Your choice. You must have at least one segment per standard though if possible. Other students in the group are responsible for the segments, but you are the person in charge of the full final product 2. Complete all full class assignments (Although, I will look at lightening the load here as needed)- Yes, you still have to do the discussions, furthering knowledge, notebooks (if assigned), and quizzes 3. Check Progress- The success of the News Broadcast unit is on you. You need to work to make sure that every standard is covered, and that the segments are coming along 4. Anchor the Broadcast- Your the anchor. Bring it together. You can have others in the group help as needed. 5. Edit the Broadcast- Make a great finished product. You can have others help as needed. 5. Peer Review- You will need to take the rubric above and complete a peer evaluation of every Parody project. Grade these accurately without bias! Social Media EditorYou will receive two grades You will get one for the quality of your discussion questions, and one for your peer reviews.

Come up with the Discussion Questions- You are responsible for the discussion questions. You need to come up with open ended questions about the topics we are talking about. They should be questions that could take a full paragraph to respond to, and they can trend towards opinion questions. These are due the Monday before the whole class question is due. 5. Peer Review- You will need to take the rubric above and complete a peer evaluation of every Social Media project. Grade these accurately accurately without bias! Website Editor (The Lone Wolf)1. Design the Class Website for the Unit- This should be an on going project, and I expect great things since you have the unit to complete it. You can use Weebly or whatever other builder you choose. Don't wait till the last minute as this will be what you arte evaluated on the quality of the site
2. Complete all full class assignments- Yes, you still have to do the discussions, furthering knowledge, notebooks (if assigned), and quizzes 3. Create a Kahoot! Review Game for the Test- Fill out the study guide on the assessment page. Go to getkahoot.com, and create a review game for the test. Publish that on unit website. Don't let the rest of your classmate's down! 4. Post! Post! Post!- Post all of the unit projects on the unit website. Make it look great as everyone is depending on you! |
